One of my favorite bloggers, Jeni, of In Color Order is cohosting a quilt-a-long, which is kind of like a virtual quilting bee. The quilt that we are going to be making is called "Sparkle" which is a fun take on a traditional block.

This is a similar quilt I made a few years ago. It uses florals and has a smaller square of homespun check in the center of the block. The Sparkle quilt will update this design and will replace the small square with one big square in the center.
